The 11th DIGI Breakfast of the DBJW Estonian country office took place on September 20th at the residence of the Austrian Embassy in Tallinn. Participants who couldn’t attend in person had the chance to join via Zoom.

This time, the main theme was “Typically Austrian” and the focus lied on Austrian cultural peculiarities. Mikk Viilukas, the Deputy for the DBJW Estonian office, gave a presentation on the main things that one should know when visiting Austria (NB! Don’t stand on the left side of the escalator). The guests had also the chance to enjoy a musical interlude by a young and promising guitarist Franz Königswieser. As with all the previous meetings in this event series, guests were treated to a delicious breakfast and as always, had an opportunity to practice their language skills as the event was held entirely in German. We are looking forward to our next DIGI Breakfast and to meeting new interesting people, who are curious about German-speaking cultures.
